Privacy notice

This tells you what Basil collects, why, and what we do (and do not do) with it. Short version: we collect what it takes to run your bakery's system and nothing more. We do not sell data, yours or your customers'. Anything sensitive stays with the providers that handle it, not with us.
1.What we collect from you
Your email address and sign-in credentials (passwords are hashed by our authentication provider; we cannot read them), your business's name and content, the records your bakery keeps in the system (products, inventory, orders, reports), and standard log data any web server keeps.
2.Your customers' data
Names, contact details and order histories that your customers give your storefront are processed on your behalf so you can run your bakery. They are your customers, not ours: we do not sell their details, we do not market to them, and messages they get (order confirmations, pickup notices) are sent for you, under your name.
3.Why we collect it
To run the storefront, register, market app and admin; to send the notifications the system sends; to bill your subscription; and to see how the service is used so we can fix what is broken and improve what is not.
4.Who we share it with
The card processor that handles payments, the database and authentication provider that stores the system's data, the host that serves the site, and the email and text providers that deliver notifications when those are enabled. Each holds the smallest slice it needs to do its part.
5.How long we keep it
While your subscription is active. When you leave, you can ask for an export, and for deletion of what we are not required to keep for tax and accounting records.
6.Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you or your business, ask us to correct or delete it, or export it. Reach us through the contact page at fabriziotech.com/contact.
7.Cookies
The service uses the essential cookies needed to keep staff signed in and to remember a shopper's cart. We do not run advertising trackers.
8.Children
The service is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think we have a child's data, contact us and we will delete it.
